Hi! I'm Kerry (she/hers). I help people who have goals to change how they interact with anxiety and anxious thoughts. They are ready to dig in, do the hard work, and live their life according to their values.

I want you to be able to make decisions in your life based on your goals, values, and dreams instead of feeling like you have to accept the meager offering that anxiety presents. You deserve to live a fulfilling, purposeful, and joyful life. I can help you get there.

Your anxiety is incredibly cruel to you. It regularly lies to you, telling you things like every intrusive thought is meaningful, that your feelings are facts, and it even lies about your worth and value. Anxiety will disagree with me when I say that these are all lies meant to keep you trapped in its grasp.

You are strong to reach out. You are brave to walk through my door. You are courageous to ask for and accept help.

I love working with adults 18+ living with OCD, anxiety disorders, and BFRBs. Anxiety can be so limiting; the more we give in to these worries, the smaller and more complicated our lives become. You deserve and can achieve so much more than this.

In treating OCD and anxiety disorders, I utilize evidence-based practice, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), alongside aspects from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), behavioral activation (BA), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing (MI).

I also am particularly drawn to working with family members of individuals with OCD, as the reality is that OCD can impact the entire family system. My goal is to help loved ones cope with and understand OCD, including helping their loved one's motivation for treatment, offer psychoeducation on ERP therapy, and dealing with their feelings of uncertainty surrounding recovery. My passion throughout my career has been working towards healing for the entire system, not just the individual.

Before private practice, I moved through the ranks at Gateway Foundation, starting as a counselor and moving to supervisor and then director. I have extensive experience treating substance use disorders, mood disorders, and trauma, both in individual care and treatment of the family system. This background enriches my work with anxiety, as a co-morbid struggle in one of these areas isn't abnormal. Throughout this journey, I have always held my love and expertise for direct clinical care.

Whether you are experiencing rapid unwanted thoughts, recurrent panic attacks, worries that seem endless, feelings of overwhelm, or general life stressors, reach out.

You are the expert on your experience, and I have the tools to help you get where you want to be. We can make a great team.

Are you ready to get started?
